Specialist Registrars (SpRs)

Kent, Surrey and Sussex has SpR trainees in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Surgery and is responsible along with the London Deanery for their recruitment, appointment and assessment and a significant amount of time is taken up in these tasks. Maxillofacial Surgery as a medical specialty has moved along with "Modernizing Medical Careers" to the ST1 system, their specialty training commencing at ST2 rather than being called Specialist Registrars.
