Dentists with a Special Interest

An exciting development has been the creation within Kent, Surrey and Sussex of Dentists with special interests (DwSI) in conjunction with Mr David Cheshire, who is Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at St.Richards’ Hospital in Chichester. The first group of Dentists with special interests in periodontology have now been trained and have been functioning for approximately one year. Feedback which I have received has been excellent and it is hoped to roll out the system of Dentists with Special Interests to the subject of endodontics and minor oral surgery. This does require some additional funding so watch this space!
