Resizing Text

The text on this website should remain readable when resized. If you find text difficult to see, you can:

  • On Internet Explorer: Go to View > Text Size on your browser's menu bar.
  • On Netscape Navigator: Go to View > Text Zoom on your browser's menu bar.
  • On Opera: Go to View > Zoom on your browser's menu bar.
  • On Mozilla Firefox: Go to View > Text Size on your browser's menu bar.

 

Changing colours of Text & Background

If you want to change the colours used on this website, most of them can be changed using the following methods:

  • On Internet Explorer: Go to Tools > Internet Options. Go on the General tab, and click the Accessibility option. Untick the Use Window Styles box.
  • On Netscape Navigator: Go to Edit > Preferences. Select Appearance, then Colours. You can change your colour settings under the Text and Background heading.
  • On Opera: Go to File > Preferences, and select Fonts and Colours.
  • On Mozilla Firefox: Go to Tools > Options, and click on the Content tab. Press the Colours button.

 

Text-to-Speech

This website is optimised to support the use of Text-to-Speech programs such as Browsealoud. This program can be downloaded for free, and allows you to select areas of text to be read aloud, as well as reading Menus aloud.
